The Kent County Show celebrates it’s 90th Show on 5, 6, 7 July 2019 and is the region’s showcase event for farming, countryside, and rural life. For three days a year, animals, horses, vintage vehicles, retail stands and more converge on the Kent Showground in Detling for a celebration of the best of the county.
The International Dzhigitovka Show will take centre stage at the Show and will demonstrate the world class military and gymnastic skills of the British Dzhigitovka Team, joined by current world champion Sergey Murugov and other national champions. Riding on Andalucian stunt horses, the team will thrill with flaming jumps, horseback archery, and human pyramids. The performers have trained with Russian Cossacks in the special style of trick riding, or dzhigitovka, to put on a fast-paced display of stunts.
With a fly past from the ‘Spirit of Kent’ Spitfire, birds of prey, Sheep Show, pole climbing and live music also joining the line-up, the 2019 Show is set to amaze.
