The Light Sittingbourne is here … it’s time to have some real fun

The wait is finally over and The Light is excited to announce its opening on Friday, May 28. The brand new venue is home to a state-of-the-art cinema, nine lane luxury bowling alley, retro arcade and a street-food dining experience. Part of the new Spirit of Sittingbourne transformation, The Light offers something exciting for the people of Kent - and it's ready for you!

The diner is the perfect place to meet, eat and drink. Boasting three resident street-food style vendors, you can expect only the best handmade pizzas from Fratellis; mouth-watering burgers, hotdogs, sliders and sides from Pittsburger, and top-quality coffees and tempting desserts including waffles, ice cream and milkshakes from Coffee Cabana. There’s also a fully-stocked bar serving everything from locally-brewed craft ale from Faversham-based Mad Cat Brewery to expertly crafted cocktails from in-house mixologists.

You can kick back, relax and enjoy your food at The Light’s all-American style diner with a loaded jukebox, or cosy up in the Treehouse - the perfect spot for a barista-made coffee. There’s also plenty of seating in their airy dining area too, plus a selection of games and toys for younger guests to enjoy.

The eight-screen cinema includes state-of-the-art screens, sound and seats. You can choose from reclining armchairs, plush electric recliners or full-length lounger beds. And for those that want a more intimate experience, the recliners can be turned in to Love Seats by lifting the arm so you can snuggle in to the perfect movie.

The Light has an amazing line-up of movies including Peter Rabbit 2, Nomadland, The Father, Cruella and Black Widow. There’s no better place to watch movies on the big screen, and all at great prices.

Visitors can also enjoy a nine-lane bowling alley and retro arcade, including classics like Mario Kart, NBA Hoops and Terminator. The lanes can be booked by time giving you a chance to enjoy the experience and one of their amazing food and drink bundles which are served during your game. They have created a space which offers something for everyone.
