Business owners in Folkestone have joined forces to promote independent shops in the town.

A video showcasing The Old High Street's shops and galleries has been uploaded to YouTube.

The film is to encourage shoppers to support independent businesses in the town.

At the heart of the town's Creative Quarter, all the shops are independent.

Ranging from arts and crafts, jewellery, clothes to photography, coffee and chocolate all the businesses are championing "the urge to shop local".
