CCTV appeal after distraction theft in Folkestone Co-op supermarket

An investigation into the theft of multiple packets of cigarettes has seen the release of a CCTV image.

Police have shared a photo of a man who may be able to help with inquiries after the raid on the Co-op supermarket in Folkestone.

It happened just before 7.30pm on Friday, March 26, at the shop in Cheriton Road.

A large number of packets of cigarettes were stolen from the supermarket during the suspected distraction theft.

Officers believe the man pictured may be able to help them with their investigation.
