A man fell to the ground from the first floor of a building under construction.

It happened in Lynwood, Folkestone just before 3.17pm yesterday (Saturday).

Crews from the town's fire station attended and provided the casualty with immediate first aid to stabilise him before assisting the ambulance crew to move him.

A statement, released by the fire service, said: "They then remained to fit struts to support the unstable part of the building after liaising with local building control officers."
