Four taken to hospital after crash in Shorncliffe Road, Folkestone

Four people were taken to hospital after a crash involving two cars.

Shorncliffe Road in Folkestone was closed for almost an hour following the accident yesterday evening.

Four people were injured and treated at the scene before being taken to hospital.

Police and paramedics attended the incident, as the road was partially blocked in both directions.

A police spokesperson said: “Police were called just before 5.30pm on April 24 to report a collision involving two vehicles on Shorncliffe Road, Folkestone.

“Four people reported injuries and were treated by paramedics before being taken to a local hospital.

“The road was clear by 6.15pm.”

The ambulance service has been approached for a comment.
