The police helicopter was deployed last night to aid officers in the search for a missing person.
Folkestone residents reported hearing the helicopter hovering low over their houses last night.
A police spokesman confirmed that ground units and the helicopter were deployed at around 9.15pm after a woman was reported missing.
Following a search, the woman was safely located.
