Tram Road, Folkestone: Police and air ambulance called to incident

A huge emergency presence has descended on a street following an incident.

The air ambulance has reportedly been called to assist forces in Folkestone.

Police and paramedics are on the scene in London Place attending a medical incident.

The air ambulance was seen landing nearby in East Cliff.

Forensic vans have also been spotted nearby, while there are unconfirmed reports of police dog units patrolling the area.

A police spokesman said: " Police were called to a property in London Place, Folkestone by South East Coast Ambulance Service at 1.40pm today following a report of a medical incident.

"Officers remain at the scene providing assistance."

Ambulance services have been contacted for more details.
