Painter and decorator who took cocaine died of heart attack after party in Dover

A painter and decorator died of a heart attack just hours after being at a party, a court has heard.

Adrian Mynard had been at a friend's gathering in Ewell Minnis, Dover, on the evening of August 17.

However, he was then found outside the venue the following morning and was pronounced dead, an inquest opening at the Archbishop's Palace in Maidstone was told.

A post-mortem concluded the 48-year-old from Folkestone died of a myocardial infarction, with cocaine use given as a contributing factor.

Assistant coroner Joanne Andrews adjourned the full inquest until February 5.
