Police believe Bostan may be in the Folkestone area and have asked anyone who sees him not to approach him, but to call 999 immediately.

The Romanian national - described as approximately 5ft 8in tall and of stocky build - was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, burgundy trainers and a black coat with a white stripe.

A statement released by the Metropolitan Police and shared on X – formerly Twitter – by Kent Police said: "We were called at 9am on Wednesday, January 31 to a residential address in Oakfield Road, East Ham, to reports of a woman with a stab injury.

“She was taken to an east London hospital, where thankfully her injury was assessed as not life-threatening or life-changing.”

Officers believe Bostan could be in Barking, East Ham or the Folkestone area.

Anyone with information as to his whereabouts is urged to call 101 or post on X @MetCC, quoting the CAD 5365/02Feb reference.
