M20 reopens at Folkestone exit for Channel Tunnel after car crashes

A stretch of the M20 has reopened after a car spun out of control and crashed earlier this morning.

Traffic started queuing after the incident at around 11am at junction 11a of the coastbound carriageway.

Police set up a rolling road block which caused delays in the area.

The car became stranded in the outside lane and had to be removed.

Kent Highways said at 11.29am all lanes had been reopened after the vehicle was taken onto the hard shoulder.

All traffic is moving again and Highways England remained on the scene after emergency services left.
