Man arrested in connection with robbery in Rendezvous Street, Folkestone

A man has been arrested in connection with a town centre robbery.

Officers attended Rendezvous Street in Folkestone last night after reports someone's mobile phone had been taken close to the town’s Wetherspoons.

Police arrested a 26-year-old, from London, at 9.50pm.

The suspected robbery took place a short while before hand.

The man remains in custody while enquiries continue.
