Rolex worth thousands stolen in Folkestone

A Rolex that could be worth in excess of £4,000 has been stolen from a home in Folkestone.

The watch, a Rolex Oyster Perpetual with a two tone strap, was stolen from an address in Sandgate Road between 8am and 5.30pm on Tuesday.

Similar models are available new from the official Rolex website with prices reaching as high as £4,350.

Investigating officers have released an image of the watch as part of an appeal for information.

A police spokesman said: "Anyone who may have been offered the watch for sale, or who saw anything suspicious in the Sandgate Road area on the date of the offence, is asked to contact Kent Police.
