Lyminge: Large rubbish fire stopped from spreading by firefighters in Woodland Road

A large rubbish fire was controlled by firefighters who stopped the blaze from spreading.

Folkestone firefighters were called on Thursday at 5.45pm to Woodland Road in Lyminge.

Crews managed the fire under a controlled burn and used a hose reel jet to damp down the vegetation around the fire to prevent it from spreading.
