Man tries to lift girl's skirt in Folkestone as Kent Police appeal for witnesses

A schoolgirl was targeted when a man tried lifting up her skirt in Folkestone.

Police are now appealing for witnesses to find the suspicious man, who approached the girl in an alleyway.

It is reported that the man tried lifting her skirt but ran off when she challenged him.

The incident happened at 8.15am last Friday, January 15 and police have just released the details.

It reportedly happened in an alleyway between Radnor Park Avenue and Avereng Road.

The man did not speak to the girl or make any contact after she challenged him.

Officers are now trying to find the man, who is described as white, with pale skin and of medium build.

He was clean shaven and possibly bald. At the time of the incident he was wearing a black rain jacket with the hood up.
