A serious crash on the A20 near Folkestone closed the road this afternoon.

Police on the scene shut one lane of the dual carriageway near the Roundhill Tunnels on the London bound carriageway just after 2pm.

A motorcycle is believed to be involved in the incident with the Highways Agency describing the incident as "serious".

The entry sliproad from the A260 towards Folkestone was also closed.

The road was reopened at 3.20pm.
