"The driver and vehicle were subsequently searched and a quantity of suspected cocaine and cash were located and seized," a spokesman for Kent Police said.

"This led to officers carrying out a search of a nearby property, where a further amount of suspected cocaine, around £40,000 in cash, phones and other drug dealing equipment were seized as part of an ongoing investigation."

A 31-year-old man from Folkestone was arrested on suspicion of possessing class A drugs with intent to supply.

He has since been bailed pending further enquiries.
