Teen from Folkestone charged in connection with knifepoint burglary in Ringwould

A teenager has been charged in connection with a knifepoint burglary.

George Mee, 19, of Cromwell Park Place, Folkestone, is accused of breaking into a Ringwould property, near Deal, while the occupant was home on Tuesday, May 2.

Nothing was stolen during the incident and there were no serious injuries.

Mr Mee was arrested the following day and has since been charged with aggravated burglary.

He has been bailed to appear before Folkestone Magistrates on Wednesday, July 12.

A second 19-year-old man from Folkestone was also arrested in connection with the incident but has been released without charge due to insufficient evidence.
