Three arrested after disturbance in Dover Road, Folkestone

Three men have been arrested after threats were reportedly made in a night-time disturbance.

Police were called to a road in Folkestone following reports of a disturbance at around 10pm on Thursday (October 5).

Officers attended an address in Dover Road, near the junction with St John’s Street, after a man reportedly made threats against other people.

Patrols were called to the scene and three men were arrested on suspicion of affray.

No injuries were reported.

Two of those arrested have since been bailed pending further enquiries and the other released without charge.

Officers are continuing to work to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident and urge anyone who saw what happened, or has relevant CCTV or dashcam footage, to call Kent Police on 01843 222289, quoting reference 46/178726/23.
