Two goals from Ian Draycott fired Folkestone to their first away win of the season on Monday night.
Having gone seven games without a victory away from the Fullicks Stadium, the visitors were indebted to goalkeeper Tim Roberts for pulling off a good save late in the first half.
Folkestone went ahead two minutes after the restart. Paul Booth nodded a cross into the path of Draycott, who fired in his eighth goal of the season via the underside of the crossbar.
And the game was made safe five minutes from time when Jon Pilbeam's cross dropped kindly for Draycott and he forced it over the line despite Richard Rose's attempts to clear.
That win lifted Invicta to 10th in Ryman League Division 1 South ahead of Tuesday's fixtures.
