Bradley Ray and Yamaha Motoxracing unveil new bike for 2024 Superbike World Championship campaign

Bradley Ray has unveiled the machine he hopes will move him up the grid when the new Superbike World Championship season begins next month.

Lydd racer Ray and Italy-based Yamaha Motoxracing revealed their 2024 bike in Rome, with the opening round of the series in Australia on February 23-25.

Ray, who finished his debut Worlds campaign 19th in the standings, will get back in the saddle before then, though, with pre-season testing at Portimao in Portugal on January 29-30.

There will also be a testing session Down Under, four days before the action begins for real at Phillip Island.

“I can’t wait to get back on the bike during winter testing and am excited to travel to Australia for the first round of the championship,” Ray said.

“It’ll be my first visit to Phillip Island. I’m sure we can do better than last season because we now have more experience.

“I want to thank [team principal] Sandro Carusi and Yamaha for renewing their faith in me. I will continue to do my best to achieve the best possible results.”

The team will also take part in the Supersport 300 support series, so it’s an exciting year ahead for Carusi.

“We’ve worked hard, and continue to do so, to organise our 2024 season in the best way,” he said. “We’ll be busy on two fronts, in both the Superbike and Supersport 300 championships.

“I’m pleased that Bradley will remain with us, because this will allow us to harness the experience gained last season as we aim to score regular top-10 finishes.

“There are high hopes for the 300 team, too, with its expert technical staff and two promising young riders.

“We have the potential to put together a very strong season and will be giving it our all.”
