A section of the A2 has been closed after a three-car collision earlier this afternoon.

It happened at a roundabout just past the Bluewater turn off.

Police spokesman James Walker said: "Kent Police was called to a three vehicle collision at a roundabout on the B255, Bean, at 2.24pm on Wednesday 21 March.

"The South East Coast Ambulance Service were also called and are at the scene assessing for injuries.

"Motorists are advised to expect some delays in the area."
