Police seek stolen Peugeot 208 believed to have been used by man who ‘made threats with weapon’ in Gravesend

Police are appealing for help to find a stolen car believed to have been used in a crime.

The white Peugeot 208 is said to have been stolen from Gillingham between 5.30pm on Friday and 1am today.

This vehicle is then thought to have been used during an incident in Oak Road, Gravesend, which happened at around 2am, when a man is alleged to have approached a property while holding a weapon and making threats.

He left the area in the vehicle, whose partial registration plate is “GL15 Y”.

Police think the car may now be back in the Medway area.

Following the incident, officers arrested a 23-year-old man from Gillingham and a 49-year-old woman from Chatham, who remain in custody while inquiries continue.
