Car fire being treated as suspicious

A CAR fire which broke out in the early hours of this morning is being treated as suspicious.

Dartford fire crews were called to the fire in Roman Villa Road, Darenth at 2.10am.

Firefighters were at the scene of the blaze for 45 minutes.

No one was in the car at the time of blaze.

A spokesman for Kent Fire and Rescue Service said: "I would say it was possibly deliberate, it's a very quiet country road."

No-one was injured in the fire and no one was in the car at the time.
