Three arrested and bailed at a travellers' site in Rosherville Way, Northfleet, after a man was taken to hospital

Three men have been arrested and bailed after a man was taken to hospital with "serious" injuries.

The men, aged 18, 19 and 27, were arrested yesterday (Monday) on suspicion of assault and police were on the site of a travellers' camp for nearly 12 hours investigating the alleged collision.

A number of police officers, including the collision investigation team, were at Rosherville Way, Northfleet.

A spokeswoman for Kent Police said: "Officers were alerted to an incident in Crete Hall Road, Northfleet at around 12.30am on Tuesday, May 17.

"A man in his 40s was seriously injured and taken to a London hospital for treatment.

"Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are carrying out inquiries, which has included the use of the Kent Fire and Rescue Service drone to take aerial photos of the scene.

Three men, aged 18, 19 and 27, have been arrested on suspicion of assault and have been released on bail until June 10."
