Firefighters were called to reports of a garage fire which then spread to a nearby vehicle and shed.

The incident happened at Sole Street in Gravesend at about 4.10pm today.

Three fire engines attended and crews wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets, main jets and water from a hydrant to extinguish the blaze.

A Kent Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said the garage fire also affected a vehicle and shed.

No casualties were reported and the cause is believed to be accidental.
