The police helicopter was scrambled as part of a search for a motorist who refused to stop for officers.
The chopper was seen over Gravesend at lunchtime as officers searched for a man who had left his vehicle after being asked to stop in Grange Road, which is near the town centre.
It is reported that he had been driving dangerously.
He has not yet been located.
