Deliveroo launches in Gravesend today

A popular delivery service is launching in Gravesend today and the company is giving out free doughnuts to celebrate.

Deliveroo has partnered with 50 eateries and takeaways around the town including favourites KFC and Burger King.

The company is offering its customers a 20% discount on orders for the next four weeks, and will be in the town centre tomorrow (Saturday, July 13) giving out free doughnuts.

Deliveroo has opened in 10 new locations in July alone.

The service is already set up in several Kent towns, including Canterbury, Maidstone, Ashford, and Dartford.

Deliveroo recently announced its plans to move to Margate as well as heading to nearby Folkestone this summer.

Harrison Foster, regional director in the UK, said: "Launching in Gravesend is a key milestone for Deliveroo.
