POLICE tape, teams of forensic officers and another two victims of crime – it’s becoming an all-too familiar weekend scene in Gravesend.

A teenage girl and a 28-year-old man are the latest to fall prey to disturbing violence in two separate incidents within hours of each other at the weekend.

And the attacks come just weeks after a man who tried to calm a disturbance was beaten senseless for his honourable actions.

As the town centre once again becomes the backdrop for two serious incidents, we ask: “Do you feel safe in town at night?”
