New documentary to focus on murder of New Ash Green mum Sarah Wellgreen

Family and friends are due to appear in a new documentary on the murder of New Ash Green mum-of-five Sarah Wellgreen.

The new series My Lover My Killer features the case in an episode due to be aired on Tuesday, May 25, at 10pm on 5 Star channel.

It follows a documentary on Sky Crime last year, Killer in My Village, which focused on Sarah's murder and rekindled hopes of new leads in the search to find her.

Sarah's former partner Ben Lacomba was convicted of her murder in 2019, just over a year after the 46-year-old mum of five disappeared from her home in October 2018.

The Search for Sarah Wellgreen team has never given up hope of recovering Sarah's body and announced the new documentary on Facebook this week, stating: "The Search for Sarah team can announce that a new documentary about Sarah's murder is due to be aired on Tuesday 25 May 2021 at 10pm on 5 Star.

"The series is entitled 'My Lover My Killer'.

"Our voluntary search co-ordinators, Kent Police and Sarah's family have been involved with the filming of the documentary."

"Thank you all for your continued support."
