Car crashes into four vehicles in Parrock Avenue, Gravesend, and is left with keys in ignition

A driver is thought to have abandoned his vehicle after it crashed into four others in a street in Gravesend.

Firefighters and police were called out to Parrock Avenue, at about 12.45am after the collision and found the car empty with the keys still in the ignition.

A crew from Thames-side were called out to make the scene safe and helped clean up a fuel spill in the road.

A spokesman for Kent Fire and Rescue Service, said: “The car was empty but the keys were still in the vehicle.

"We helped deal with a petrol spill on the road and left the incident for police to deal with."
