Police investigate four reported burglaries in Northfleet within just a few hours of each other

Police are looking into four reported burglaries which occurred in the same town, within just a few hours of each other.

On the evening of Thursday, October 27 and the early hours of Friday 28 four Northfleet homes were said to have been targeted.

A family heirloom has been reported missing following a burglary at 9pm in Harrowby Gardens.

Jewellery was said to have been stolen, including a designer watch and a family heirloom in the form of a wooden necklace.

Earlier on the same day a report of burglary was also made from a property in Waterdales where at 7.55pm the suspect was found inside the home and fled.

In both incidents witnesses report that the man knocked on the front door first to see if anyone was at home.

Police are also linking these two incidents to two other reports of burglary.

Between 5pm and 9.45pm on the same evening a burglary was reported at a property in Tyler Close.

It was alleged that a window was smashed and a Raleigh cycle bike seized from the rear of the property.

On Friday between midnight and 5.18am in Newmans Road, a home was also broken into and a quantity of cash and keys were stolen.

In all four incidents the suspect has been described as aged between 30 and 40 years old with a bald head and wearing a parka style jacket.
