Wearing their finest dresses, jewels, and most dazzling hairstyles, the ladies had flowers in their hair as they went about their work, providing care and support for the residents, who were delighted to see them looking so fabulous.

Some of the senior staff also brought in some treats for colleagues, including face masks, eye masks, hand and foot creams, false nails and chocolates, so they could enjoy a relaxing evening of pampering when they got home.

Belinda Law, area domiciliary care manager for Rapport Housing, said: "I think we all miss getting dressed up and feeling good at the moment, so the team at Watling Court decided to host Glamour Day, so we could all look and feel our best.

“The residents loved seeing the team all dressed up, it really brightened their day."
