Crews arrived to a small fire on the ground floor of a property. It is thought it accidentally spread from an indoor heater.

Nobody has been reported as hurt, but the incident did prompt a warning from firefighters urging others to take care using heaters indoors.

People are being reminded to always keep household items including clothes, curtains, duvets and soft furnishings well away from heaters to reduce the risk of a fire starting.

Firefighters used a jet to extinguish the blaze and it was all over by 12.55pm.
