A large police response was sent after a man was tragically found dead outside a house.
Emergency services were called to Pier Road, Northfleet, today.
Witnesses described a large police presence in the area.
Spokesperson for Kent Police, Andy Saunders, said: "Officers and the South East Coast Ambulance Service attended the property and the person was declared deceased at the scene.
It is understood they were found outside a home.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and the man's next of kin have been informed, a police spokesperson confirmed.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
Police said they arrived just before 9.30 this morning.
