Man taken to hospital after being hit by car in Dickens Road, Gravesend

A man has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Gravesend.

The pedestrian was knocked down in Dickens Road, just off Rochester Road, at 8.15pm yesterday.

Police and ambulance crews were called to the scene, and the road was closed for around an hour.

The man was taken to King's College Hospital in London, but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

No one was arrested.
