Man treated for crash injuries

A man has been treated for injuries after being hit by a car.

The pedestrian was involved in an accident with a black Ford Focus this morning in Perry Street, Northfleet.

It happened near the junction with Brook Road at around 9.30am.

Paramedics from two ambulances treated the pedestrian, believed to be a man, and an air ambulance was expected to land at a nearby school to airlift him to hospital.

Three police cars were also at the scene and had closed Perry Street in both directions.
