Gravesend man charged with attempting to steal from cars parked in Milton Hall Road

A man has appeared in court accused of trying to steal from parked cars.

Police launched an investigation after a man reportedly tried to steal from the vehicles parked in Gravesend.

Officers were called after reports two cars had been broken into and rummaged through in Milton Hall Road in the early hours of the morning.

The incident took place at about 12.20am last October 19 but police arrested and charged Liam Lunt in connection with the alleged break-ins this week.

The 21-year-old, of Windmill Street, Gravesend appeared in court this week charged with two counts of vehicle interference after his arrest yesterday.

He appeared at Medway Magistrates' Court today and was released on bail to attend Medway Magistrates’ Court on 29 January 29.
