The crash was originally reported to have involved six vehicles but it has since been clarified that it was just two.

Elsewhere, the London-bound M2 reopened at about 4.30pm after a lorry crashed through a barrier yesterday morning and ended up in a ditch at junction 5 for Sittingbourne.
