The 47-year-old said he knew he wanted Andre for the role and reached out to his management on a whim.

And, to his delight, the singer read the script and signed up to be a part of the project.

On Instagram, the former I’m a Celebrity contestant and ex-husband of reality TV star Katie Price posted a snippet of the film saying: “When this is done it’s going to be epic.”

In a short clip, Andre can be seen ditching the “dad look“ as he equips a hardman role, telling a crowd of people “Why don’t you just turn around and pretend this hasn’t happened?” before engaging in a fight sequence.

The 51-year-old TV personality was also recently spotted at a mental health cafe in Whitstable shooting a segment for The One Show.

However, the story behind the new film, which has been written by Shaba Karim, is set around the government and MI5.

It will involve a “good guys and bad guys” trope with hostages, undercover operations and lots of twists and turns, says Jeevan.

The movie is the Kent filmmaker’s biggest project yet.

“I’m a lover of the cinema, always have been but I’ve not been to drama school, film school, or anything like that,” adds Jeevan.

“I learnt it all myself by having that passion – I always believed I could creatively tell stories.

“I had to experiment and it took me the best part of ten years.”

Jeevan who was born and raised in Gravesend added that he hopes his new film will help put his hometown on the map.

So far, most scenes have been shot in Sheffield and Manchester but filming could move down south, he suggested.

There are also opportunities for the project to have spin-offs and sequels.

But, the movie is still in early development with a release date estimated for 2025.
