The items, which come from the Pokemon and Dragon Ball Z franchises, were stolen from a property in The Maltings by two men at around 11am on Wednesday, May 12.

The cards have not been found and officers would like to hear from anyone who may have been offered them for sale in suspicious circumstances.

Officers have already completed a number of inquiries and these led to Ben Pay, 21, of no fixed address, being charged with burgling the address following an arrest on Saturday.

At a remand hearing, at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Monday, he admitted the offence and has been remanded in custody to be sentenced at Maidstone Crown Court on a date to be determined.

A 40-year-old man from Rochester was also arrested on suspicion of the offence and has been released pending further investigation.
