A man been exposing himself to women from his car.

He was spotted performing sex acts in a silver Renault Clio in Gravesend and Dartford.

A 26-year-old man from south east London has been arrested and bailed until October 14 but police are keen to hear from more witnesses.

On August 17, two female joggers said they saw a man perform a sex act as they ran past the car in Parrock Street, Gravesend between 5.30pm and 6pm.

They started running towards the town centre and were followed by the car until they reached the shopping area.

Another woman, in her 20s, also said she had seen a man expose himself while she was walking in London Road, Stone, between 11.50pm and 1am on August 19.

The car pulled up alongside her but the man drove off after the woman carried on walking.

DC Jo Fountain, who is investigating, said: "We are keen to speak with anyone that may have been in the London Road or Parrock Street areas on the days and at around the times the alleged offences took place as they may have vital information that could help with our investigations.

"Initial inquiries indicate there may have been other people in the locations, or who may have seen the man in his car before the incidents took place, and we would encourage them to contact us."

Investigators describe the suspect as a black man, in his late 20s, of medium build.

He is clean shaven and was reported to be wearing a light coloured t-shirt in the second incident.

Anyone with information is asked to contact DC Fountain on 01474 366212 and quote crime reference AY/10367/11.

Anyone who may have been a victim of this type of crime is urged to report it to Kent Police on telephone 01622 690690.
