People rocked out at The Red Lion to raise money for the fight against cancer

People rocked out to raise money for the fight against cancer.

Colin Tyler, who was diagnosed with sarcoma – soft tissue cancer – in the latter part of last year organised a charity gig for research into the condition at the Red Lion pub in Crete Hall Road, Gravesend.

Host for the evening was DJ Jim Beerman, from Top Rock Radio, who introduced bands Anihilate, Wretched Soul, ((OHHMS)), Spyder Byte, Bast and Dead Before Mourning.

Mr Tyler said: “It was an amazing night with a huge turn out. Special thanks to Terry and all at Leo’s Red Lion for letting us put on the gig.

“We’re nearly at £1,500, raised with door entry, the Just Giving page and other donations.”
