People were evacuated after a fire in Bluewater Shopping Centre.

The blaze happened in the Village section of the Greenhithe mall - between John Lewis and House of Fraser.

Shoppers reported hearing a message come over the tannoy saying "Fire has been reported. Please leave the building immediately via the nearest exit."

Bluewater tweeted to say it was a "small electrical fire" that was nothing to worry about.

It is thought to have started in a cupboard in a service area.

The centre has returned to business as usual.
