The vehicle was seen travelling along Dering Way in Gravesend at about 11.15am on Sunday.

Patrols say it was reportedly seen again being ridden in an anti-social manner with several other mopeds said to be stolen.

The team from Kent Police Road Policing Unit unit worked with colleagues from the National Police Air Service to bring about an operation to recover two mopeds.

A 13-year-old boy from Gravesend was also stopped in the area and his details were obtained for further inquiries on a non-custodial basis.
