Three arrests after attack outside Gravesend Boat pub leaves man in critical condition

Police have made three arrests following an attack in a pub car park which has left a man fighting for his life.

The victim was found outside The Gravesend Boat, in Leander Drive, in the Riverview area of Gravesend, on Tuesday night.

He was airlifted to a London hospital with a serious head injury, and remains in a critical condition four days later.

Since the attack, officers have arrested three men on suspicion of assault.

Two, aged 20 and 37, are from Gravesend, while officers also detained a 36-year-old man from Rochester.

They have been released on bail until July 3, while officers carry out further inquiries.

Detective Inspector Paul Fewtrell said: "We are appealing for witnesses who were in Leander drive at the time of the incident to call our appeal line.

"We are also asking motorists with dashcam and residents with private CCTV to check for footage that may assist our investigation."

The attack happened at about 11.35pm on Tuesday.
