White Christmas comes to Gravesend

Gravesend town centre will be covered in a blanket of snow on Saturday as the Christmas lights are switched on.

Mayor cllr Ken Jones and pantomime beauty Victoria Scott, who is playing Snow White at the Woodville Halls, will be throwing the important switch at around 4pm.

They will be joined by other cast members for a special parade from the theatre to New Road.

In the evening the participants of Gifted Young Gravesham, a showcase of young talent in the borough, will be putting on a performance at Woodville Halls.
