Woman arrested after disturbance at the Three Daws in Town Pier, Gravesend

A 21-year-old woman has been arrested after a disturbance at a riverside pub.

Kent Police was called at 6.25pm yesterday to a report of a disturbance at the Three Daws pub in Town Pier, Gravesend, where it was alleged a customer had verbally abused a member of staff and threatened to cause criminal damage.

While officers were carrying out inquiries at the location, they were made aware of a separate disturbance involving a number of different people in the car park.

After intervening, a 21-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of assaulting two police officers. She remains in custody.

Inquiries into both incidents are ongoing.
