Ebbsfleet have signed striker Tyrone Marsh on a free transfer from Oxford United.

Marsh penned an 18-month deal with the Fleet on Christmas Eve - the day of his 21st birthday.

The night before, Marsh was playing - and scoring - against Ebbsfleet for local rivals Welling, where he'd been on loan since the start of the season.

Marsh netted in the FA Trophy first round replay between the sides at Park View Road. But his goal was in vain as Jamie Day's Fleet came from 2-0 down to win 3-2 and set up a home tie against Forest Green Rovers in the second round on January 10.

In 22 league appearances for Welling, Marsh scored eight goals - including three in his last two games. He was on target twice as they beat Aldershot 3-1 on December 20.

Marsh joined Oxford as a 14-year-old and he made 14 first-team appearances during his time at the Kassam Stadium. Before joining Welling he had been loaned out to Aylesbury United and Staines Town.

He could make his Fleet debut away to Chelmsford City on Boxing Day.
