Ebbsfleet United sign former Norwich City midfielder Ebou Adams

Ebbsfleet have made former Dartford midfielder Ebou Adams their first new signing of the summer.

Adams has spent the last two-and-a-half years at Norwich City, the club he joined after bursting onto the scene with Darts in 2015/16.

The 22-year-old finished this season on loan at Leyton Orient and played against Fleet in March but chose not to make a permanent switch to Brisbane Road.

Ebbsfleet manager Daryl McMahon said: "He’s had similar or better offers elsewhere but he likes what he’s seen here. He thinks we’re progressive as a club.

"He’s coming to us because he’s looked at our squad and how we performed last season and he thinks he’ll be a good fit. I think he’ll be a big player for us."

Adams, who was also loaned out to Shrewsbury this season, made 16 appearances for Orient in the National League.
